Loren was born and raised in Haiti where his mother was a missionary and his father (a native Haitian) was also involved in full-time ministry. He gave his life to Christ at age 8 and has sought to serve Him thereafter. Loren went to Ben Lippen School in Columbia, SC as a resident student for high school. He then went on to study Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering at Purdue University.
During college he joined the Navy, met his future wife Tina, and developed a love for music ministry. After college he earned his wings as a helicopter pilot and served in the Navy for another 18 years, living in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East as well as all around the United States. God opened doors for ministry for Loren and Tina wherever they went and continued to develop their gifts and broaden their experiences along that route. They served in music ministry, pastored a church, hosted community groups, conducted premarital counseling, and were involved in jail ministry just to name a few.
Loren retired from the Navy in November of 2013 and is currently a seminary student at Columbia International University in addition to being a pastor on staff at Sandhills Community Church. Loren and Tina have two teenage children, Joelle and Joseph.
