A Place to Belong and Believe
Being in community plays a large role in spiritual growth. Sandhills offers a variety of groups to help you #GetConnected. Our groups operate on a 2-semester (Fall and Spring) format with each semester lasting about 12 weeks. The groups study a variety of topics--from books of the Bible to subjects dealing with Christian living.
We Would Love For You to Lead or Host a Group This Semester!
We offer video curriculum, discussion guides, and a workshop to show you how to do it all without having to be an expert.
This semester, groups will start mid to late March and go through early June.
Sandhills University is the place to go deep in your relationship with the Lord and with your understanding of the Bible. Our classes are often taught by some of the most prominent Bible teachers and professors in Columbia. Tuition is $50.00 per person or $85.00 per couple, and includes all class materials, books, lunch, and childcare.
Community groups are a key aspect of our church community; they help a large church to feel smaller. Most meet weekly in the home of a group member (usually the leader's home). We try to keep them limited to about 12 people. If you can't find an open group, please let us know!
Activity Groups are organized around common interests (ie, crafts, fishing, fitness, etc...) but also have a spiritual component. In addition to the activity, there is devotional time & prayer.
