Below are stories from people who have shared their faith and details of what happened. You'll notice that oftentimes, a commitment to Christ didn't happen at the time the Good News was shared. But be encouraged! When we are faithful to share the Good News of Jesus, we are planting seeds or watering previously planted seeds. It is God's job to make them grow.
My 1st grade classmate asked me 'Why are you so nice to me?' So, I told him about Jesus.
I shared the Gospel at a Bachlorette party. She asked me how she could get more involved at church.
I shared the Gospel with a young man at Fall Festival. I used the Romans Road model. He said he would receive Jesus, but needed to leave then.
I shared the gospel after second service with a family member of a member. He accepted Christ!
I shared the Gospel through my testimony at GSAC. I also invited her to church and prayed for her. She had a positive response, but no profession of faith.
I often talk to my friend about my faith and I invited him to youth. He really likes coming to youth.
I shared the Gospel with a young man who comes to church occasionally in November. He was not very responsive. He came back after the Holidays and said he accepted Christ as Lord!
I shared John 15 with someone who was in my home for dinner. He wants to start a relationship with Jesus!
A friend is going through a divorce. She was lost and depressed. I shared God's love for her. After she reached bottom, she cried out to the Lord and surrendered her life to Him. -
My husband & I shared the Gospel with my mom and what it means, and how to pray. She is going through a hard time, so she received it well. She had more questions. Will continue to talk to her.
