Tom spent four years as a member of Sandhills before being hired full-time as our Discipleship and Leadership Development Pastor in 2008. Tom grew up on the coast of Massachusetts, and received his B.S. in Physics from Southeastern Massachusetts University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Bible from Lancaster Bible College. He went on to earn his MDIV from Columbia International University, which eventually brought him to Sandhills. Tom spent 12 years in various roles in the development and manufacturing of vaccines before leaving that behind to pursue full-time pastoral ministry. As the pastor of Discipleship and Leadership Development, Tom focuses on identifying and training leaders as well overseeing the church’s Community Group ministry. Tom is married to Amy, and they have twin sons, Will and Alex. When he is not working (which isn’t often), Tom enjoys spending time with his family, working out, and being in nature. He also enjoys interacting with other cultures and would love to teach overseas in a seminary or Bible college someday.
