At Sandhills, we believe that God Created each of us in His image, and that means that everyone is Unique and special in their own way! Our Unique Needz Ministry is all about helping kids come closer with Jesus by ensuring they thrive in environments where they can learn about Him comfortably.
When we say “Unique Needz”, we’re talking about children with special needs, those who have experienced trauma, or simply kids who might need a little extra help to join in on the fun at our ministry events. We love partnering with families to share the love of Jesus and create a warm, welcoming space where everyone feels they belong.

Right now, we offer special accommodations for children with unique needz in our children’s ministry, which caters to kids from birth to 5th grade. We can not wait to meet you and your family.
More Ways to Connect
Museum Experience
Each month the museum hosts a special morning designed for families of children, teenagers, young adults and adults who would benefit from a quieter, sensory-friendly and
disability-adapted experience. This event is free, but pre-registration is encouraged. Our Sandhills Unique Needs Ministry participates in this monthly activity.
Supper Club
This potluck supper aims to bring families that have child(ren) with Unique Needs together through community, encouragement, and food! This is a whole family gathering, childcare will not be provided. We will have a sensory-friendly area and light activities planned for children to enjoy.
